Liz Minner's Story

As a child Liz spent the entire day outside as often as possible. Not sure which she had a stronger affinity towards - architecture or nature - she was always constructing various lean-to's, cabins, forts, caves, & tree houses.

According to Rosemary Gladstar one of our modern herbalist superstars, certain children who spent hours in the out of doors had to be called for time and time again when it was time to come inside. In the old days, those children were "the keepers of the green." They were groomed for the future as wise ones and healers.

Liz was that child that was called time and time again - she is a wise keeper of the green, and a healer. She spent the better half of her professional life in the health care industry, and has purportedly been a Civil War nurse and an Indian herbal healer in past lives.

Two years ago, Liz lost her livelihood in health care due to developing an allergic contact dermatitis. This was a challenging experience during trying economic times and the highest rates of unemployment since the Great Depression. After a year of unfruitful and relentless job searching, Liz decided to "hire herself" and return to where she knows she is meant to be.

Liz believes the "powers that be" gently placed her where she is today. By choosing to heal and reinvent herself after this humbling, life-altering event, she has returned to the healing of others through HEALing Fields Whole Body Care, LLC.
